    I'm with Cavscout, the styles would seem to clash. The only way I can envison pulling it off would be a solid black kilt (or pinstripe) with matching waistcoat and jacket, black or grey hose, and a tie.

    If you dislike Scottish headgear I might suggest an Austrailian Slouch hat, I'm not sure why they work with casually worn kilts outfits, but they do.



    Walkerk and Bunchdescendant also sport wide brimmed hats like these at times and look good. Plus at the Woodland Highland Games I saw an entire Pipe Band outfited with them.
