From my experience (all of 7 months since I first wore a kilt) it does indeed seem to be an addiction. From one kilt I now have six in my closet and looking to get a seventh. And there are more I'm lusting after. Surprisingly enough I haven't had any negative reactions that I'm aware of (or can remember) here in the Rochester NY area. The worst that has happened was when a little boy saw me walking into CVS and he said to his mother "That man's wearing a skirt!". I laughed and heard her correct him in telling him that it was a kilt (smart lady!). I figure it's a lot better than the kids wearing their shorts around their knees. At least I can run if I have to! The most common question I get is: "Do you play the pipes?" I'm workin' on it...
