I don't know, there's something really poignant about the picture. Something really sad has happened to the guy being held, like maybe the guy's puppy just died or something like ash scattering ceremony. I like its composition and its challenge to stereotypes. All pretty brave work considering what it is actually selling.
What it looks like it's selling, to me, is a kilt camaraderie that you can't get except by things like combat. It looks like it gets rid of all sexual confusion without being androgynous. BUT IT'S NOT SELLING KILTS!!! It's a really weird ad.
