Total time sewing and cutting out and replacing needles in the bloody (not literally) machine... roughly six hours and 45 minutes. Hey, I'm starting to get down to Tartan Hiker's sorts of times!
Add in washing, running to JoAnne's for thread, velcro etc and it's probably nine hours total time spent, but then I'm doing other stuff while I throw the fabric in the washing machine and dryer..
Beginners will NOT be able to make an X-Kilt this fast! For you, budget 13-18 hours.

Panache, bring a 1.5 inch wide belt to Beer and Kilts Night this month. I made my belt loops on my predator camo X-Kilt wide enough to fit a "real kilt belt" but I decided both they and the belt look dumb, so I made your belts loops wide enough to fit a 1.5 inch belt.
