Hey Bozemanbob, I just moved to Belgrade, and dont really know anyone here yet. Do you fly-fish? I don't even have a kilt yet, but I do have one on order from Matthew Newsome. I teach fifth grade and I am not sure how the parents would feel about me waing a kilt. I do have to worry about parents and the school board. Take care, It's good to know there's another kilt wearer in my community.

I started a new job last March. At my previous POE, it was definitely not welcomed. When I started this one, I inforemd my employer that I wear kilts when I'm not at work, and asked about coming to work kilted. He was a bit shy on the concept at first. Then my dear friend Ern, who I met here at XMarks, told me he'd instituted 'kilted friday' in lieu of 'casual friday' at this office. I suggested this to my boss, and VOILA! Now I wear a kilt to work every Friday.

    Welcome to Belgrade!!

I don't really fly fish. I have most/all of the stuff, but the most I ever accomplish is beating the water into a froth with the tip of my fly rod. I live about 1/4 mile from the Gallatin on Amsterdam Road, so close I can walk to the river in a few minutes. Sometimes I do so I can sit and watch the fish go by...

Have you been to the Spotted Horse Cafe? We hang out there all the time (but they're closing for the holidays as of this Thursday). Perhaps after the holiday madness is ended we can meet there on a Saturday morning. They'll be open again on the 5th.

If you want to get together in the next week or two for a beer or something, send me a PM. I look forward to meeting you.
