It sounds like they really have their act together. That's good to hear these days.

Every company has their bad moments and off days, but Tartanweb was one of those companies that really cared that their customer was happy at the end of the day. I was not 100% happy with my last order from them (a big part of the fault is on my shoulders too), but the level of customer service I received from Iain and David in the past will have me coming back next time I need anything. The level of service mixed with some great prices, and a really good product is pretty standard with Tartanweb IMHO.

I recently ordered a 8 yard kilt from them and for the price I think the kilt is excellent. I also found the service to be excellent. Just make sure when you are looking at price you factor in any tax or duty you will pay once you get it.

Well- ITīS HERE!!
As I told you a week ago, I ordered a 5yrd Lochcarron Strome (16oz) kilt in the Black Watch ancient tartan. Today , coming home from work, I was bedazzled by this beauty. Honestly- it is love on first sight. The fabric- fantastic. Itīsturdy, tough and dressy in one. The buckles are casted, not those cheap stamped ones. The straps are strong and sturdy (Iīd wish some of my belts had that quality). The craftmanship is excellent. It fits like a glove. The sewing is well done. There are 20 pleats on it, not that deep as on an 8yrd kilt, but the weight of the fabric gives a very nice swing to it. The pleats hang well. Average pleat depth is 2`. I can honestly say that to me this seems to be the perfect casual kilt. In my opinion tīs a real "small tank" that could be used in any situation. Not to forget it took just two weeks from ordering to delivery. As an unexpected surprise there was a matching pair of flashes for free inside the package.
So-Two thumbs up for Tartanweb I highly recommend them. Hope, I will be able to post some pics soon. At the moment Iīm too upset. Forgive me!
Cheers
Thomas

I love TartenWeb!! Their staff and products are great. I just ordered a pair of Ghillie Brogues and dress hose for an upcoming Ceilidh I am going to in Glasgow. The price and quality are hard to beat. They even were very accomadating and let me order from the U.S. and have my girlfriend in Scotland pick up the order from their store. John Paul McDougall, at tartan web is top class. He answer all my questions via e-mail and was very fast. He handled my order personaly.
Im trying to not sound to much like an ad for them, but it is hard not to like them.
Hmmm....I should see if they if they need a commercial done. Maybe trade my services for kilts
