You guys ROCK!!!
I'll be wearing my acrylic SWK blackwatch to the Celtic Jam I think, and yeah, I will probably be shedding the tee eventually anyway. I really appreciate all the advice guys, I look forward to being a part of the community.
Thanks again!!! (anyone else planning on attending Grandfather Games this coming weekend?)

Have you read the G'Father thread in the Games forum? You don't want to miss the X-Marks meetups at the Scottish Tartans Museum tent...Friday/Saturday/Sunday at 10 AM. See ya there!

I would love to go to the Grandfather Mountain games. I've heard it's as good as the Long's Peak festival here. Take lots of pictures, gentlemen!

So to restate the whole tucking in the shirt thing- I went to the Colorado Irish Festival today. There was a guy there with a Black Watch kilt on. He was wearing white knee high socks- obviously not kilt socks, but I have no problem with that- no sporran or belt of any kind, and an untucked t shirt. He looked like a slob to my eyes. So to beat the point home... TUCK IN YOUR SHIRT! At the very least, tuck in your shirt. A tucked in shirt would have made a huge difference with that guy's appearance...

I kind of have to agree, untucked shirts look weird on kilts, in my opinion. For me it makes it look like *gasp* skirt!
