They sell a line of Levi's at walmart, look the same as other places, lower quality.
I have tshirts from Abercrombie that I have worn for years, that are still almost new looking, and other shirts that look like they are on their last legs that are only a few months old.
My last 2 normal shoes I have owned (pairs, obviously) are Doc Martins. The newer one was made in china, but the other was made in Brittan. The British ones were better, but they wore out after 3 years or so, and that include fencing and hiking and some biking in them. (3 or 4 pairs of insoles for that matter, but I am still on the original for the newer pair, which I've had about 3 years as well.) My shoes do need a good cleaning, but they are built well. A pair of tennis shoes I bought at Meijer (Walmart got the idea of adding a grocery from them) for 20 dollars, because Chuck E Cheese wouldn't let me wear black shoes, and only being in them 2 or 3 days a week, the lasted only about a month.
The point is, you will still get what you pay for, if Walmart sold them, more people would wear them, but more people would really learn to appreciate quality.
