I'm afraid that's well outside my ability. I would have to hand sew, and I wouldn't trust my crafting ability... Do any of the reenactors know of a period tailor or seamstress willing to make a pair?

Missy Clark of Barkertown Sutlers makes bag hose for $30, which I believe are basically the same or very similar. I've got several pair she made from non-descript (non-clan associated) tartans. She might be willing to sew a pair from your fabric - or you could purchase a pair from her and take them apart to use for a pattern (which is what I'm doing for a pair of 18th century regimental red and white diced hose).
