End of traditional sealskin sporran under EU ban

This has been in the Canadian news for a few days. The ban will affect all seal products, including meat, oil and skin.

Banning the sale of items already in shops. . . now there's a politician mind-set for you. Although it does make the enforcement aspect more clear-cut. And now that I think of it, there probably won't be many, if any, left in shops by then as folks realize the now-or-never nature of the purchase. Smart retailers will make that clear in shop displays.
