I don't know if Lochcarron even weaves this any more. I checked a couple years ago, and they told me that it was no longer available. Maybe they've started weaving it again.
Thanks for posting those great pictures...I certainly hope I will be able to get the tartan woven because I'm more determined than ever after seeing it in a kilt. Your advice seals the deal on the pleating as well.

I have a kilt and a pair of trews in this wonderrful 16+ fabric, there are several more kilts and waistcoats in the family and there was some fabric left over for stoles and cushions. With a bunch of demand I suppose it would be woven again. And as an aside, this may be one of the finest kilts in my pretty-large wordrobe.
No hijack there... it's good to know and btw, yours is another beautiful tartan... to say nothing of those excellent hose!
