He is friends will P/M Gordon Walker, and last saw him at the 2009 Bratach Gorm piping competition in London. Matt typically sees him for several competitions whilst in Scotland; I'll be sure to remind him if he could ask Gordon where he got his red laces (and the entire style of shoe for that matter!)! I'm betting he probably made his as well, or had them made for him. I'll keep you posted mate!

I am a piper as well...although not at the professional level. I've heard of Matt before, and Gordon Walker happens to be one of my favorite players.
