hmmm you all must have some pretty epic celtic festivals in other states, the one I went to not too long ago the clan tents didnt have a great lot, although I ventured over to most of them towards the end of the day. I was thinking of this as a big expenditure, more to just get word out even more and have a place for easy meet-ups. Pay the space fee, have an easy-up or two, maybe a laptop with the site open, couple paper brochures, and some friendly banter.

Either way, I am throwing my hat in the ring for the Arizona area! And I know for a fact there are tons of you from Arizona that would be on board!

BB if you go to www.cmana.net they have a convenors corner that tells you everything you need to know about running a tent.

I would be more than happy to tailor the generic model to fit XMarks, submit it to the powers that be for aproval and have it available for anyone who wants to put this info at their Clan tent.

Sweet! Thanks for the info! This will be needed regardless for me because I plan to do some work at other festivals not totally pertaining to kilts.

Which brings up another point, xmarks could possibly venture out??? I know flagstaff hosts an annual wool festival that is FREAKIN AWESOME!...2 day event.

Frankly, the maximum in convenience would be to have the Xmarks spot set up at the beer tent so we wouldn't have to keep going back and forth....

Yea, proximity is everything, and think of all the people we could bring in!

All of this sounds like it would be more fun than a barrel of glue, but it needs to be run by Steve before anybody makes any plans or says, "I'll do this" or "You do that".

Aye, to be honest I thought this would be like many of my threads and fizzle out pretty quickly, but apparently I was wrong. It was good to get some responses though, thanks guys. I will contact him and reply. Thanks guys.

Please use the search function. It's simple, really. Just type in "Xmarks tent" and you can easily find the answer you're looking for. Here's a post from Steve which covers this topic...again.
