I'm forced to disagree with Chas, It's a good deal on L&M.

That said, the black and brass doesn't really work for me here. I'd either go ALL black leather or black and chrome.

I agree with Scott on both points here.

What can I say? I am seeing this from a UK perspective and never realised that L&Ms were so expensive.

Yes, it is a good deal for the L&M sporran in question. I own many sporrans from L&M and can certainly testify to their hard wearing, versatility, and general good looks. They are definitely well made sporrans - no question. I would contact the seller to see if they could have it made in brown leather, rather than the black. I think the brass lattice cantle would look far better with a brown sporran body, versus the black.

I like black with silver accessories as far as sporrans and belt buckles go. I am quite confident that L&M Highland Outfitters can do this, as I have had several custom sporrans made for me via the company I do business with, that offers the unique L&M line. However, you may lose the discount going that route, so ultimately, it's up to you mate. Good luck!

P.S. - I own the brown with brass studs (no cantle - MSRP is $269 US) Hunting style sporran by L&M and love it dearly!

    Cheers,

They sure can be. My bespoke hair sporran for evening attire and formal events was around $700 US, but again, it was bespoke, exact to my details, and made with the highest quality of materials...the attention to detail is quite remarkable. I would recommend L&M to anyone.
