    I own two of those sporrans - one black with chrome, and one brown with brass. I agree with the others who've said that the brass looks better with brown. I only wear the black/chrome one with the black barathea argyle with silver buttons, but that's just my preference.

    Superb looking sporrans mate (I need to get my hands on the brown version with the brass cantle!), and I completely agree with you. There is a reason why many pipe bands and solo pipers alike, really are fond of the black hunting sporran with silver cantle by L&M - it looks great with your standard black barathea Argyll jacket and waistcoat.

    Your attire is also spot on - I took notice of the Mackintosh tartan and the motto you have on your signature...slainte to that mate...here's to the Clan Chattan Confederation!
