Finn,
Not to go off topic, but if your in Da Region and feel the need to go kilted the third weekend in June. Don't miss the Illinois Saint Andrew Society Highland Games in Oak Brook. I run the Chisholm tent. Hopefully I'll have my new Matt Newsome box pleat by then.

Glen,
Thanks! AA sent me a link for it. Didn't know it was in Oak Brook. It is a definite possibility.

Animal House was evidently based on the writers experiences at a Frat House at the University of Toronto. I saw in the paper a few weeks back that that Fraternity was recently closed down at UofT. Took them long enough...

From what I've read, it was Dartmouth (Chris Miller) and Wash U in St. Louis (Harold Ramis).

Could be lots of places take credit for it. Here is what CBC radio said awhile back: "The students who live at the Gate House residence at the University of Toronto are not exactly happy these days. Last night, we told you about the university's decision to move the male students who live in Gate House out because of rowdy and sexist behaviour by some of them over the fall semester. Gate House has a long history of raucousness. It's even reputed to be the model for the movie Animal House." Who knows?

Sorry, but it is Dartmouth and Wash U. As I mentioned earlier, the writers, Chris Miller and Harold Ramis went to both of those schools:

Of course, not everything that happened in the movie was real, but Miller pretty much states it was inspired by his time at Dartmouth.

"You f**ked up, you trusted us"
My frat had our versions of Bluto, D-Day and the rest. Our version of Flounder was named "Noodle"
Good times.
