Traditional vs Alternative Kilts
If you lined up an African in a dashiki(sp?), Hindu, Muslim, Thibetan Monk, Geisha, Tahitian in a grass skirt, Bavarian in Leiderhosen(sp?), and a chap in a full dress Highland outfit, I wonder which one would be considered "wierd"? Anyone who finds an authentic ethnic outfit wierd is a moron. I only wear traditional tartans and sporrans, and my reactions are overwhelmingly positive. I wonder if the alternative kilt variations are eliciting negative comments more than the traditional? Can anyone who wears both shed some light?
Cheers!
