casual kilt belts

I purchased the belt over the winter as i was shrinking out of some belts mainly for jeans or shorts, but was thinking it might look pretty nice in the casual Kilt dept, what's the consensus?

That's a nice looking belt, how wide is it?

I've seen 1.5" (regular pants size) belts look OK on a casual kilt that sits at the pants waist but I think a wider belt looks better...
