Kilted at Robert Burns Supper?
I am going to be attending a Robert Burns Supper on Monday, and I want to know if being kilted will be acceptable. I won't be in traditional dress, but I will be wearing a suit jacket with the kilt, a black sporran, black dress shoes, green wool socks, flashes, black shirt and black tie. It looks rather good, but there will be Scots and pipers there, and I don't want to offend anyone. Thanks for the help.
